Not so long ago I had a Sunday afternoon off work to play with. My good friend and BRILLIANT hairdresser Drew Christie from Evolve Salon convinced me that I just had to do a shoot with this gorgeous girl with a ‘fierce’ new  haircut (created by him of course …. he is the best). So we headed into afternoon to make some pictures. Cheugnet Christie from Evolve did make up, Drew hair, and Amelda Grieve the styling. Big thanks to all involved and particularly to the very gorgeous model Danielle. I am looking forward to working with this team again in September when I am taking the month off to “normal” work to work on personal projects.

I  recently had the pleasure of photographing Holly Wasserfall, a wonderfully talented singer, song writer and musician. I am much more of an image person than a words person, but what i can tell you, is that, if the word talent could be defined by a sound … young Holly would fit right in there. At only 14 years old she has a string of accolades behind her, including having released her debut album Strawberry Skies. The first time i heard her perform i actually had a lump in my throat … her lyrics have a social awareness and a maturity which go way beyond her age. Besides that, her songs are really funky, catchy and have an african twist combined with a a modern organic flare.
