From KZN to the Karoo and back – Memories of our Roadtrip

I am a born and bred Natal girl and although I have had stints of living in the Cape and abroad, most of my life has been spent in the lush, sweaty greeness of KZN. I have only recently discovered my love for the Karoo as previous to Afrika Burn, it was a place we drove through to get to Cape St Francis! What I have come to realise, is that the Karoo is not a place that one should just motor through. If you give it time, it will more than likely give you a bit of magic in return!

I love the vast landscapes, the big skies, the quiet, the stars, the dusty orange sunsets and the endless grey roads. It’s a special place that’s for sure … Here are a few of my memories from our recent roadtrip toΒ Afrika Burn 2015 and back.

    Hi Jax!
LOVE, LOVE LOVE your pics! We are planning a Karoo trip in Oct and I’d love to ask you where those round white huts are (and what the place is called) and also the last three photos? Would love to try and get to those places πŸ™‚
