Champagne Castle Hotel Gay Wedding – Robert + Jorge

Robert and Jorge are truly a global couple. Jorge was a doctor in Cuba who moved to Chile to become a psychiatrist where he met Robert who works in mining but is actually from South Africa. Nowadays they both live in Australia but chose to get married in the Drakensberg Mountains.

Stories like this fascinate me. I relish in hearing how people met, how they fell in love and why they decide to make a life together. In Robert and Jorge’s case it is easy to see why they are together. They just compliment each other!

Jorge has a laugh and a twinkle in his eye that makes the world a better place, and Robert has the manners and the mannerisms of an English gentlemen. People smile when they are around. Their cheeky sense of humour and the way they connect tickled my soul!

This wedding was a delight to photograph. Champagne Castle Hotel  provides a truly beautiful setting. But the most inspiring thing about this wedding was their love, which is as vast and strong as the giant African Mountains that watched over their celebration.

Thank you for picking me to capture these memories! What fun!
