Gwahumbe/ Hope Valley Bush Wedding – Laura + Ryan

There are those weddings that come around that are so monumentally extraordinary that they would be impossible to forget. They have it all, an incredible setting, a beautiful couple, stylish décor and even more sophisticated wedding attire. Laura and Ryan’s wedding had all of this and more. I could wax lyrical about Laura’s exquisite dress which she designed herself, I could tell you about the reception venue – a clear marquee found tucked away in the Hope Valley near Gwahumbe, I could tell you that this setting is only accessible by 4×4 and I could describe the elegant décor at length. But I won’t, I will tell you about what is really important, and that is that Ryan and Laura absolutely adore each other and are truly best friends who have found love. There is no wedding detail as important as that!

Laura and Ryan your wedding was an experience, that is for sure. Bush weddings are always special but yours was just something else! Thank you so much for picking me; your big day was truly spectacular!

    Hi Jackie.
Being a single lady at the wedding, I had to to sit and watch the big picture. I was absolutely mesmerised watching you at work. I wanted to chat to you before I left but never got the chance.(it Only the 2nd wedding I’
ve been to where 12 hours later we were still going strong) Am glad I can chat now.
You were so totally focused and your camera looked as though it was an extension of your body. I am a musician so I would describe it as playing an instrument and producing this beautiful music. You were seeing pictures that nobody else was and it was as though you were busy weaving this unseen tapestry. (I don’t drink so it wasnt that !!!!! and I kind of thought you silly old bat if you had to say this to someone they would send you to a home for the bewildered)BUT I have looked at the photos and so felt I had to write to you to tell you how I’d felt. I stand in awe of your amazing, amazing creativity. May you receive many blessings as you continue to live out this wonderful gift . I will definitely be popping onto your site when I feel in need of upliftment and beauty. My very best wishes Bugsy
