Nadine and Lori took their time to get engaged but they did it in an unforgettable way in their favourite city on the Pont de Artes bridge, Paris! They love French culture and the magic of this European city and so Paris became the theme for their wedding as well as their engagement! Nadine and Lori would have loved to have got married in Paris but they are also extremely close to their family and friends and wanted to ensure that all their loved ones could be with them on their special day. There was also no ways that Nadine’s Dad would let her get away with a quiet elopement! Their wedding was an eclectic mix of Eastern and European rituals, outfits, traditions, and decor. They had a Hindu ceremony followed by a Parisian themed party which saw everything from fire dancers, glittered toffee apples to a sabrage ceremony being performed with aplomb by the groom. This was a wedding that was filled to the brim with colour, bling and a whole lot of love.
After the wedding was over Nadine and Lori jetted off to the UK where Nadine got to fulfil one of her dreams to visit Hogwarts. I think this best sums them up, they are a delightfully quirky couple who are adventuring through life in the search of magic!
Thanks so much Nadine and Lori for picking me. It was so wonderful to get to know you both and work with your lovely families. Wishing you so much love in your future together.
And now for a few words and the credits from the bride and groom
Lorenzo and myself would like to thank our parents for awarding this opportunity as well as our family and friends for being the most exceptional support system. We are grateful for those who took the time to join and celebrate with us and thankful to all our service providers for their hard work on the day, as well as before and after. We chose the best service providers to work with, which assisted us immensely, as each provider worked persistently to give us the greatest experience. June 18th 2016, was the most wonderful day and allowed us to travel back to Paris to relive the day Lori proposed. So far marriage is awesome, and although our wedding was one of the most memorable days, we are positive the best is still yet to come.
