Tiger Lodge Jozini Dam Wedding – Cristin + Don

Cristin and Don could be described as professional travelers as they work in the super yacht industry! Their interest in globetrotting began a long time before they took up this career path though. At the tender age of just 18 they both left South Africa and headed off abroad. The interesting thing is that even though their paths hadn’t crossed at this point, they grew up in the same town. Some years later they landed up meeting and falling in love and, despite the fact that they suffered through a few periods of long distance, they stuck it out and got engaged in Florence.

Besides their love of traveling they both have an immense love for Africa, their friends and family and a good party! They chose Tiger Lodge Jozini as their wedding venue, as not only does it offer some incredible scenic African views, it was a perfect place for their loved ones to spend the weekend celebrating. The fact that they are both yachties and love the water may have had something to do with it too!

Cristin and Don, it was truly a pleasure to photograph two people who are obviously so smitten with each other! We will never forget elastic face! Thank you so much for everything, it was a joy to be a part of your special day!

And now a few words from the bride….

No words could even begin to describe the Journey Don and I have been on together and the Journey of planning our perfect day.

As Don always says it sure has been a roller coaster from day one but the BEST roller coaster either of us have ever had the joy of being on. (Cheese of the day;))
That being said our day was nothing short of spectacular, we couldn’t have dreamt it to turn out any better than it did. We started choosing our venue, photographer, videographer, and wedding planner all the way from the middle of the ocean at work on a yacht. We followed our instincts and ended up with the Best of the Best that helped make our day truly incredible.

Our vision for our day was: A unique, relaxed, magical, outdoor day, where nature would have a large influence and where our friends, family and us did not feel rushed and could take in everything. We wanted it to be as personal as possible with personal touches that spoke volumes about Don and myself and our relationship.
We had the time of our lives and felt so extremely loved by all our friends and family.

We couldn’t thank everyone enough that was apart of our day and that helped make it the Best day of our lives!!!!
What a way to start off our marriage, with a BANG….
