2019 has been like an onion
.
Absolutely beautiful in it’s design, jolly good in a pasta, rather smelly with a lingering aftertaste and filled with so many layers
.
I feel like I have been peeled this year
Layer by layer
One minute I think I’m ok and then BAM another one gets taken off. .
I’m good though
.
This unlayering has been like an evolution
.
I come to the last month of the year knowing that I have more strength in me than I knew I did
.
Launching the #selfcarecreativitychallenge was one of the best things I could have done. Looking after me and putting the focus back on my health and well- being has touched all aspects of my life and work
.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, frazzled and struggling I can highly recommend that you take a moment to make the decision to look after yourself. Once you do that, things seem to slowly fall into place as your lens changes. The answers are always inside of you. You’re just not listening .

Not too long till I capture the wedding weekend of these two wonderfuls. I will be photographing their ‘white wedding’ on the Saturday and traditional wedding on the Sunday. Super excited for this! Traditional weddings are a riot of colour, sound and ritual. I actually started gym especially to prepare, because I’m estimating about 17 million squats will be done in 24 hours
.
So glad to be working with @tmoloabi ..... she is truly the bees knees of wedding planning

Also how wonderful is the paint technique on this glorious wall at the @thechairmandbn. Just delicious
