Having worked with many photographers around the world, Jacki Bruniquel is quite unlike anyone I’ve met wielding a camera. Not only does she approach each shoot with more vigour than your local barista, she can literally turn a blank canvas into an incredible ornate and detailed artwork. Her photos of me have been published in places from New York to New Zealand and are always met with the same response, “Who took those incredible photographs”? Jacki is quite simply a world class artist of epic proportions!

Insecurities? We’ve all got them. In over two decades as a wedding photographer, I’ve worked with thousands of everyday people and I’ve heard every concern under the sun. I’ve found that this anxiety is usually caused by a fixation on surface appearance.
While I’ve become adept at seeing past blindspots and directing my subjects so I can capture their best features, my biggest takeaway is that even the most confident person becomes radiantly more magnetic when we switch the focus to telling your story and amplifying the essence of what makes you uniquely you.
Then… the camera becomes a conduit for bringing out your light.
