I spent a large portion of my twenties living in London and madly saving for the next adventure to some distant far off land.
My relationship with the UK was always a love hate one. I have so many amazing memories from my time there but my mermaids spirit always craved the ocean, craved my family, craved the warm sun on my face and sand between my toes.
Tash and I recently shot a wedding in the Caribbean and we stopped off in London on the way and stayed with my good friend Jane. It was such a treat to take Tash around and breathe in Britain. The UK certainly turned on the charm with crisp wintery days, orange leaves and twinkling Christmas lights, and it was so wonderful to see it all again with fresh eyes.
Here are some photos …….. Pics of me were taken by Tash.

Hi Jacki, There is more talent in your little finger than most people have in their entire body!!! So blessed to be able to follow your spectacular career!
Lots of love
Wow, wow, wow…
Love it! You almost make me like London 😉
You know what they say…A man who is tired of London is tired of life.Truly one of the most amazing cities in the world, and you have shown it at it’s best. Fabulous images.
You make me want to go to London now!
absolutely LOVE how you’ve captured my adopted city 🙂
Wonderful images! If you are a well deserving Boss of the Year, then Tash must be Employee of the Year! That girl puts in some long hours!
You are a shoe-in for Boss of the Year!
Your photography literally breathes life into my weary bones. The days generally go by in a blur of monotony and routine. The work I do is intense; there is not much beauty in the world of HIV. So your blog entries are like an elixir at the end of a heavy week, with pictures that inspire and refresh me. Bless you for having this talent and bringing us these gifts – like sweeties for our eyes.
why aren’t you shooting for travel magazines yet?
Absolutely fantastic Photography – well done! The ones of London just make me want to go back there again to Nicola!
I just came across these by mistake. Very cool!!!
Love the pictures. What lens was used (e.g. on the very first pic of you?)
